Remembering together · Racing for a cause
More than just a race.
The Virtual Race of Remembrance brings the sim racing community together for endurance racing with a purpose — honouring those who made the ultimate sacrifice and supporting the work of Mission Motorsport.
The meaning behind VROR
We remember those who never came home.
We remember all of those who made the ultimate sacrifice and never came home.
The Virtual Race of Remembrance takes its inspiration from the annual Race of Remembrance at Anglesey Circuit — a race held alongside a remembrance service, bringing the motorsport community together to remember and pay tribute.
VROR carries that spirit into sim racing. Each year, drivers and teams come together for an endurance event that is about more than the result on the timing screen.
Supporting Mission Motorsport
Mission Motorsport supports the recovery and rehabilitation of those affected by military operations, using motorsport as a vehicle for positive change.
Visit Mission MotorsportA growing community effort
Two events. One shared purpose.
Since the revival of the event, the community has raised a little over £4,000 for Mission Motorsport — and we want to take that even further.
The story so far
From Paul Ricard to Silverstone.
The event was revived through a conversation with David Anthony (Dingo), who had taken part in one of our charity events and asked whether Positive Perception could help with the technical side.
Four hours at Paul Ricard
The first revived Virtual Race of Remembrance brought 44 teams together on Assetto Corsa Competizione.
- 4-hour endurance race
- GT3: 33 teams
- GT4: 11 teams
Six hours at Silverstone
Returning for a six-hour event at the home of Mission Motorsport’s National Transition Event, the grid grew to 48 teams across three classes.
- 6-hour endurance race
- GT3: 26 teams
- GT4: 16 teams
- TCX: 6 teams

Watch the 2026 broadcast.
The 2026 event featured live stewarding and a live broadcast through the British Forces Broadcasting Service Esports channels. Here’s one part of the coverage, with more available through the BFB Esports channel.
Be part of it
A community built around the event.
Discord is the main hub for VROR information and announcements. It’s where we share event updates, communicate with teams and bring the community together in the build-up to race day.
Whether you’re an established team, an individual driver, a motorsport fan or simply want to support the cause, you’re welcome to be part of the community.
The next chapter
Virtual Race of Remembrance 2027
We’re already looking ahead. The platform and event details are still to be confirmed as we explore opportunities with the game developers and publishers. We’d love to welcome even more teams and raise even more for Mission Motorsport.
There are no mandatory entry fees. Teams are asked to make a donation to secure their place on the grid, with fundraising taking place in the build-up to the event.
Virtual Race of Remembrance is organised with support from the Positive Perception community.
