Frequently Asked Questions

Thinking about a new livery? Want to know how we work, what it costs or what happens next? We’ve put together answers to the questions we get asked most often. If there’s anything else, just come and talk to us.

01

Pricing & Ordering

How much does a livery cost?

Our standard rate is £30 per design, regardless of the simulator or vehicle. That includes the design process, reasonable revisions, final renders and a handy installation guide.

No confusing price lists or hidden extras. If something falls outside the usual scope, we’ll always discuss it with you before getting started.

Do you offer discounts for bulk orders?

Absolutely! Orders of five or more designs to the same specification within the same simulator qualify for discounted rates.

Get in touch with the details and we’ll put together a quote for you.

Do Positive Perception racers get a discount?

Yes! Drivers competing in our own Positive Perception racing series receive 10% off their livery designs.

It’s our way of giving something back to the community.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept PayPal, bank transfer and card payments.

We don’t generally ask for payment upfront. You’ll get to see your design renders and approve the finished look before payment. Once payment has been received, we’ll supply your final design files.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Not normally. We want you to be happy with what we’ve created before you pay for it. We’ll share the renders, work through any agreed adjustments and take payment once you’re happy with the result.

Final design files are released once payment has been received.

02

The Design Process

What simulators and platforms do you design for?

We work across the major racing simulators, including:

  • Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC)
  • Assetto Corsa (AC)
  • Assetto Corsa Rally (AC Rally)
  • Le Mans Ultimate (LMU)
  • iRacing

We also have experience with real-world motorsport livery design. If you’ve got something a little different in mind, just ask.

Can I use the same design on multiple cars?

Of course! We can carry a design theme across multiple vehicles, whether that’s for a team, a manufacturer or simply your own collection.

However, each car requires its own design work because simulator wireframes and templates vary from vehicle to vehicle. Each vehicle is therefore treated as a separate livery.

How long does a design take?

Our usual target is to complete designs within two weeks, although this can vary depending on our current workload.

Sometimes we can turn things around in the same week. If you’ve got a deadline, let us know when you enquire and we’ll be honest about what’s achievable.

Can I provide reference images, colours and sponsor logos?

Definitely! The more information you can give us, the better.

Reference images, colour schemes, sponsor logos, existing branding or even just a rough idea are all useful. We’ll work with you to turn that idea into something that looks right on track.

Can I see the design before I pay?

Yes. We provide preview renders so you can see how your livery looks before committing to payment.

We’ll work with you on any agreed changes, and only release the final files once payment has been received.

03

Revisions & Delivery

What if I change my mind or want something altered?

That’s part of the process. We understand that seeing a design come together can sometimes change your thinking!

Reasonable revisions and small alterations are included in the price. If you decide you want to take the design in a completely different direction or effectively start again, we’ll discuss that separately before doing any additional work.

What do I receive when the design is finished?

You’ll receive the finished design files for your chosen simulator and vehicle, along with a helpful installation guide explaining how to get your new livery onto the car.

Can you help me install my new livery?

Absolutely. Every design includes a guide to help you install and use your new livery.

If you get stuck, just give us a shout. We’re happy to help where we can.

What happens if I spot something wrong after delivery?

Let us know. If we’ve missed something or there’s a small detail that needs correcting, we’ll do our best to put it right. We want you to be happy with the finished product.

04

Teams & Partnerships

Can you design liveries for an entire team?

Of course. We can create a consistent team identity across multiple cars, drivers and vehicle types.

For larger orders, we can discuss bulk pricing. We also offer exclusive arrangements for teams and communities who are happy to promote Positive Perception to their drivers.

I’m a team owner or influencer. Can I get a free design?

We don’t generally offer free designs in exchange for exposure. However, we’re always open to discussing partnerships with individuals, teams and communities whose values and audiences align with ours.

Depending on the opportunity, we may be able to offer preferential pricing or a specific arrangement.

Do you offer real-world motorsport design?

Yes. Although sim racing is a big part of what we do, we’re not limited to the virtual world. Get in touch with details of your project and we’ll be happy to discuss what’s possible.
